SummaryA visit to your "BEAUTIFUL" city! Main BodyI was stationed onboard the U. S. S. Thomaston L. S. D. 28 in 1971 when we had the greatest pleasure of visiting your beautiful city. We traveled 88,000 miles on that 7 month cruise visiting many ports. Sydney, Perth, Diego Garcia, Singapore, and many more. By far your city left the most wonderful memories of that entire trip. I was wondering if you have any photos from that visit? We were pictured on the front page of your local news paper, which I had a copy of but have since lost it.
