Soldiers face down dead on the ground. Trenches have been dug under the whenua, where Maaori are hiding. Maaori still being killed from cannons and guns above. Whaanau cherishing moments they had with loved ones. So scared and yet so brave the Maaori and British, at the battle of Gate Pa.
