Captioned: 36 hours after the floodway was sealed with green concrete this flood came down and quickly filled the 50 acre lake and then poured over the spillway. The concern of the engineers that the green concrete plug might fail proved groundless and no damage resulted. Now ready for dismantling the concrete batching plant, shown between dam and spillway, had been served by inclined tram from stone crusher and sand washer located to right of camera.
