Tauranga District Council intersection footage (1996)
Date1st January 1996Reference NumberAV 22-005DescriptionAs part of its BAU in 1996, the Tauranga District Council (1989-2003) took video footage of problematic intersections and road sections. These were later given to the Library for public use.
The footage is pretty raw in that in some sections staff members can be heard wrestling with the technology. It's sometimes also 'produced' enough to contain some intersection names appearing on the screen and one video begins with Freddie Mercury singing "Another one bites the dust" (muted now for copyright reasons).CreatorTauranga City Council
