Written in pen on back of mount: The old engine-driver's name was Ole Haukland (Norwegian) - not spelt Auckland but pronounced sounding like our Auckland) He was in charge of Paroa Mill and the Rangiuru Mill and worked for Dad [Jim Paterson] up til the time of the disastrous flax fire in January 1912.FormatPrintPhysical Descriptionblack and white print
