Handwritten note from Munro Wilson dated 2 April 1908, that Mr Smith was the local contractor for the Auckland Water Supply, and he had communicated with him, assuming he still held that position, and although it appeared he had severed connection with the company, his wire to Mephan Ferguson Spiral Steel, indicated a friendly desire to assist. |
