Date1927DescriptionBecause of her poor health, Ynys Wallis didn”t go to school until she was seven. But she did have a tutor who taught her to read. Ynys, a “drama queen” in infancy, was by the age of 10 already a talented ballet dancer. This coloured photograph shows Ynys in her ballet costume standing on pointe. She later married Kenneth Fraser._x000D_
