Date1975DescriptionNigel Roderick Brown was born in Invercargill in 1949 to Raymond Francis and Veronica Brown (nee Sedon). He grew up in Tauranga, attending Ōtūmoetai and Pillans Point Primary Schools. The now Southland based artist's paintings and prints give voice to his vision of a New Zealand identity.
