Them we're the days, a comment made was we walked ae, we also in the summer walked to the beach from our school to the Maungatapu Bridge to have swimming lessons yeah that's right wr never had a swimming pool. We didn't complain just laughed got up to no good happy kids. See the kids today can do that??? the Blondie girl was Brenda Smith, they where the farmers who practically only pakeha family there at the time. We came there about 1967/ 68 my uncle the Chinese he brought land there to grow market gardens. George Lim -Sun." (Facebook, 22 December 2025)
