Tauranga Business and Professional Women's Club (Organisation)

Tauranga Business and Professional Women's Club was established c. 1956.
In February 1963 there were 86 local members and they were known as the Tauranga branch of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club. In April that year member Mrs J.S. Cockburn produced a painting for the clubroom of Mayoress, Mrs D.S. Mitchell, then patron of the branch.
In October 1996 Lyn Harpham was made a life member, and a Bay News article looked 'back on 40 years'.

In 2024 the Business Women's Network is a part of the Tauranga Business Chamber.
Nationwide: The New Zealand Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NZFBPW) was formed in 1939, changing name in 2000 to Business and Professional Women New Zealand Inc. (BPW NZ).
