JohnGilmore - I have opened a Grocery store in the newly erected premises opposite the Roman Catholic Chapel on Cameron Road, 26 July 1880. Bay of Plenty Times, 31 July 1880.
Griffiths Bros and Cos new store. They have occupied the premises recently occupied by Messrs Turner and Buddle. Before leaving England Mr Griffiths was the recipient of a beautiful illuminated address etc from the London North Western Railway and the Shropshire Union Railway and Canal Co. Bay of Plenty Times, 9 March 1882.
Grocers at New Zealand House. Mr B. Metcalfe notifies that he has disposed of the Grocery part of his business at New Zealand House on Cameron Road, and leased the store to Mr Thomas Stuart, who takes over the business on Monday 19 March. Bay of Plenty Times, 13 March 1883.
