He was in the engineering branch of the Army and spent two years serving in Thailand and was stationed at Scott Base, Antartica, for six months. Mr Mihaere was minister in Tuakau before his appointment at the Tauranga Central Baptist Church. He is seen here with Justin, 20 months.
