("Nobby") Clarke of Mount Maunganui, who is almost 80 years old is now in serious training for this year's Mount Maunganui to Tauranga charity swimathon. During the First World War he landed at Gallipoli as member of the Lancashire Fusilliers. Every morning of the year he takes a dip in the Mount Maunganui hot salt water pool and he thinks that more "old time" should join him in the harbour swim on February 22.
