1800s
James Bodell Tauranga cider and cordial manufacturer. Tauranga Record, 15 June 1867.
Clarke and Hawkesford:

Mr Peel and Co intend to run an aerated water business in Willow Street. 23 July 1881.
Demand for power becoming apparent. Mr Clarke, Aerated Water Manufacturer imported a soda water machine etc. Bay of Plenty Times, 11 September 1883.
Mr C.A. Clarke's soda water machine is in operation. Hand power must be used as no water power available. Bay of Plenty Times, 9 October 1883.
1900s
C.A. Clarke, cordial manufacturer, intends to remove to Waihī and establish himself there. Bay of Plenty Times, 17 May 1901.
James Campny has purchased C.A. Clarke's cordial factory. Bay of Plenty Times, 3 June 1901.
Mr Campny gives notice of sale to Messrs Amos and Hall of Nelson. 26 February 1902.
Tauranga Cordial Factory starts production on 14 April 1902.
Mr Halls' cordial factory moves from the corner of Spring Street and Grey Street, to further along Grey Street, into a new up-to-date factory constructed by Mr W.A. Carswell (floor space approximately 2700 feet). Bay of Plenty Times, 23 August 1939.
Tauranga Cordial Factory ceases production in 1940 (T. Hall died 13 February 1940).
