She married Charles William Grove in 1894.
She had a holiday home at Mount Maunganui, 'Glenala' (corner of Adams Ave and Mount Maunganui Road), and later, once widowed, she resided at 'Wyndy Ridge' on Ocean View Road.
She was a foundation member of the Rotorua Golf Club, and she was Champion Golfer there, 6 times.
She was interested in the beautification of Mount Maunganui, raising money for a children's playground, establishing tennis courts at Adams Avenue and providing and planting Norfolk Pines for the Domain area fronting Ocean Beach.
She would supply tea to passengers from Auckland at the Mount Maunganui Wharf.
She was involved in the Anglican Church.
She died in March 1947.
