SummaryThomas Milne was born in Glasgow in 1903. He arrived in New Zealand aboard The Oswestry Grange with his family in 1908.
He married Esme Florence Lloyd in 1928. They had four daughters and lived in Marsh Street.
His father was in charge of the Ōmanawa power station, and he was employed there at the age of 15, helping build the power station at McLaren Falls.
He followed his father to White Island Products at Sulphur Point.
He served with the Tauranga Borough Council as a meter reader and office worker for 36 and a half years, retiring in 1968.
