SummarySt Peter’s Presbyterian Manse, also known as St Peter’s House, stands at 136 Spring Street, Tauranga, on the Spring/Selwyn Streets corner. Built in 1901 for St Peter’s Presbyterian Church, founded in 1878, it followed Tauranga’s first Presbyterian service in 1868. Designed by Edward Mahoney & Sons and built by John Conway, it is a large kauri gabled, verandah-fronted villa. It housed ministers until 1994 and now operates as a social work centre; it is locally listed, but not Heritage New Zealand registered.SourcesArabin, Shirley in "Presbyterian Manse, Spring Street, Tauranga" (Tauranga Historical Blog August 2014)
