SummaryZeta Ellen Hendry was born in 1924 to Colin Alexander Hendry and Constance May née Tooby. She married Kenneth Stuart Richmond in 1948 and settled with him and their children in Merivale, Tauranga, in 1955. A trained school dental nurse, she later worked at Parkvale Post Office, progressing from temporary Christmas assistant to full-time postal assistant before retiring in 1986. She was involved with Merivale School, indoor bowls and St Enoch’s Presbyterian Church.
