Daughter of Henry Morgan and Dorothy Rosa Simmonds. Listed at Timaru in the 1938 School Certificate examination results. Served with the Women’s Royal New Zealand Naval Service (WRNZNS). Served as Tauranga’s Chief or City Librarian during the 1970s, overseeing development of the city library network and its children’s services. Lived at 21 Ranginui Street, Tauranga. Retired in 1981. Later lived in South Canterbury.
