Originally labelled as "Aircraft wreckage. Waihī radio operators", the label may actually refer to the negative with accession number 16-159. This image shows crew in jumpsuits preparing a helicopter for search and rescue operations, possibly the first such use of a helicopter. It is dated 5.7.63, two days after the Kaimai Air Disaster.
