A1929 Ford Model A 4-door sedan which had 21" wheels for plenty of clearance through the mud and ruts. The Mill Road over the Kaimais was almost impassable during the wet winter months. This Service Car was known as the "Winter Horse" and operated in 1929-1930. Photo probably taken at Cambridge, 1930. Copy by C. S. Otway from original held by Wratten family.
