Living Harmony- Scottish Community of Tauranga, TRMC Event 2008
Main BodyTauranga Regional Ethnic Council Inc celebrated their monthly "Living in Harmony" evening at 7pm. on Wednesday, 14th May 2008 at the Citizen Club at 14 Norris Street with a Scottish theme. This evening allowed us to learn a little about Scottish history and traditions, experience the addressing of the haggis, listen to the bagpipes, watch and participate in Scottish country dancing.
People came in with some lovely Scottish kilts and joined in Scottish Country dancing and shared some favourite Scottish foods.
