Greerton Village Cherry Blossom Festival (2011)

SummaryGreerton Village Cherry Blossom Festival 2011, was part of an annual street carnival / festival which spills out onto the beautiful cherry blossom tree lined streets. Main BodyWith easy free parking at the Tauranga Race course on Cameron Rd, a short stroll to all the action sees people in the middle of a street carnival where they are entertained by a huge range of free family entertainment including stilt walkers, taiko drummers, carnival rides, street theatre, clowns and loads more. There is also the Greerton Village craft fair in the Greerton Village Hall (Cameron Rd), the carnival rides in the Greerton Village School grounds and the red hot spring specials in the retail stores. In 2011 this was all topped off with a live Greerton Village wedding on the Band Rotunda in the Village Green at 1 pm.
