Kymin was built in 1906 for the first Baptist minister in Tauranga, Reverend William Barnett. It originally sat bounded by 12th and 13th Avenues and Cameron and Devonport Road. In 1965 it was moved to 5th Avenue and renamed Belvedere (Steve Vergeest). Handwritten on reverse "Kymin" and "C72/12".
