The troops shot the whole day.
Loud noises came, we were scared.
Soon they thought we were dead.
They started heading towards our pa.
In a shock, we attacked out of our trenches.
The ground was filled with blood and dead bodies.
Many British soldiers died.
The battle of Gate Pa is my home.
