I see funny costumes, guns pointing at my head, it’s scary, petrifying, but I’m brave. They are all wearing collars, funny hats, and something on their feet. What type of weapons are they? What’s their plan? their skin is a funny colour. I see people die in all the trenches, it’s a challenge. I hope they don’t find my family.
Through the eyes of a British soldier
Clouds of gunpowder everywhere. What are they wearing? I see all my troppies lying on the ground, died. What colour is their skin? It’s a black colour. I feel intimidated. Tell my family I love them.
