The unit recorded 66 interviews in three years. This interview with Wynnton Poole and Mrs Albina Poole is one of these. It was recorded at his home in Otumoetai, Tauranga. Wynnton Poole was born in Katikati in 1908 to May and William Poole. The Poole family arrived in Tauranga when Wynnton was 4 months old and his father operated as a dentist on The Strand. By 1920 the family was farming at Oropi.
