Interview with Mr Jim Lever and Mrs Rata Roden (née Lever)

Broadcaster and Village Radio volunteer, James Hartstonge, founded the Tauranga District Museum Oral History Unit in 1988. The unit recorded 66 interviews in three years. This interview with Mr Jim Lever and Mrs Rata Roden (née Lever) is one of these. It was recorded at Rata Roden's home in Elizabeth Street, Tauranga. The recording is 42:53 minutes.

Rata Roden the daughter of Harry and Alice Lever, trained as a nurse and married Alan Roden who died in WW2. She travelled widely, wrote newspaper articles and a book. Jim Lever, Rata's brother, was born in 1906.
