Interview with Mr Neil Hansen

The unit recorded 66 interviews in three years. This interview with Mr Neil Hansen is one of these. It was recorded at his home in 11th Avenue, Tauranga. Neil Hansen was the son of Christian Hansen and his wife Jessie Frances nee Ruthven. He was born in Tauranga and educated at the District High School, becoming a civil engineer. He was County Engineer for the Tauranga County and prominent in local organisations. He served in the NZ army in Italy and the Middle East. He married twice.
