Mrs Grace Peake nee Bounsall married Victor Howard Peake and had one child. Grace was a trained nurse and became the President of the Nurses Association of which she was given life membership. Grace was elected to the Tauranga Hospital Board and the Tauranga City Council in the early 1960s. She served three terms as a Councillor.
