Ernest, known as Claude, was the youngest son of Edwin and Ellen Reeve, born 1 November 1903. He was an excellent student and won the Kitchener Scholarship in 1919, and went to Lincoln College for three years. He took up school teaching and gained an Arts Degree and Diploma in Education. Ernest was headmaster of the Greerton School for three years (1954-1957), the same school which all eight [of] Edwin Reeve's children had attended and also six of Samuel Reeve's children also attended....
