Spring Street Mall (Red Square), Tauranga showing the Bay Savings Bank building, Star Hotel, McKenzies and Bond and Bond. The postcard was purchased in Feb 1986, but the Star Hotel was demolished in 1985, with the mid city centre opening Oct/Nov 1985. McKenzies was taken over by Woolworths in 1983.
