Local retiree Rodney Giddens began an undertaking to provide a photographic record of shop fronts from the roadside of Tauranga's CBD in 2015 and 2016. Though initially interested in capturing Art Deco buildings, he ended up photographing other buildings as well.

This cottage is located at the edge of the flat land, south west end of the street overlooking the estuary. It is for sale and likely to be redeveloped with the adjacent block of flats.
