Date5 February 2021Reference NumberPhoto 21-225DescriptionTaken from 8 Williams Street in Tauranga, February 2021. Local retiree Rodney Giddens began an undertaking to provide a photographic record of shop fronts from the roadside of Tauranga's CBD in 2015 and 2016. Though initially interested in capturing Art Deco buildings, he ended up photographing other buildings as well.
On the south west corner of Williams and Selwyn Streets this weatherboard and iron roof one storied bungalow was probably built in 1920s. There is a wide gabled front porch with wide timber pillars. The windows are the casement style.FormatDigitalPhotographer/CreatorGiddens, RodneySourcesvisual check from street 2021.
