Collection SummarySeveral published works by local historian Robert Craig Scott.DescriptionRobert Craig (Bob) Scott (1939-) was raised on a dairy farm at Mangateparu near Morrinsville until 1952, then Apata near Katikati. He went to the Katikati District High School from 1952 until 1954 and thereafter began work life at the National Bank of NZ in Tauranga. Bob married Margaret Ida Compton in 1960. He later qualified as an accountant and spent many years in company management positions in Tauranga.

In his younger days he was a keen rugby player and golfer then later became involved with the Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club serving seven years as a flag officer including two as Commodore. His interest in local history has seen a number of books published about local regions in and near Tauranga. Some of these he has made available here. CreatorScott, Robert Craig
