Raymond George ran this shop on the corner of Ōtūmoetai Road and Sherwood Street (where church is now) from 1951 to mid-1953 (he appears in Auckland Provincial Directories 1951-52, but his son Malcolm was born in Palmerston North in 1953 so he will have left in that year).
