Kinder 1862 - River Waikato Landing Place Mangatawhiri". The photograph is adhered to a backing card, and on the verso of the card is an A.N. Brown stamp, with: "Ph 8", written in black felt pen. On the backing card of the picture is stamped: "TAURANGA PICTURE FRAMERS - 368 DEVONPORT ROAD - TAURANGA - PHONE 82-371", and written in pencil: "A N Brown Ph 8".. In the 1972 Catalogue of the A.N. Brown Collection, this photograph was recorded as a loose photograph. It appears likely that Duff Maxwell had this photograph framed at some time after this date.Physical DescriptionArt.
