Reference Number1969.0018DescriptionDaguerreotype of Mrs Susan Nevell and her two children, Susan and John, mounted in a wallet or book form. The daguerreotype has a gold and black matboard and is glazed. The inside of the front cover oposite the daguerreotype is lined with red satin fabric. The outside is covered in plain black leather. The daguerreotype closes with two fine hooks on one side. At the time of cataloguing the daguerreotype was wrapped in tissue and had a note with it, written in blue ink on a scrap of writing paper, which read: "My Grandmother, Mrs. Susan Nevell ........"
