A rectangular piece of cream coloured card, with two identical black and white photographic prints glued onto it, made to be viewed with a stereoscope. The card has "J.F. Jarvis Publisher", printed on one end of the card and, "Sold only by Underwood & Underwood New York, London, Toronto-Canada, Ottawa-Kansas." printed on the other. Both photographs are of a lavish palace interior. Underneath the photograph on the viewer's right is printed: Reception Room of Catherine de Medicis, Palace of Fontainbleau, France.
