In the background those who attended the funeral are leaving through the rear doors of the chapel. The dress of those in the photograph suggests the photograph was taken during World War One. The photograph has a black embossed card border, with an art deco design. Stamped on the picture backing is: "TAURANGA PICTURE FRAMERS - 368 DEVONPORT ROAD - TAURANGA - PHONE 82-371". 24/12/2010 - during cleaning found printed on the verso of the card the photograph is mounted on: "R.W.
