Reference Number2006.0893DescriptionPhotograph of C.W. Vennell, glazed and in a white frame. The black and white photographshows the man seated at a desk with a book open in front of him. From his dress it appears to be the 1940's or 50's. Written in white in the lower right proper corner of the photograph is: "Scott". The frame is wooden and is covered with a white coloured imitation leather with gold trim. Personal communication with Jinty Rorke 25/07/08 identified this man as V.W.Vennell. the author of "Brown and The Elms".Physical DescriptionArt. Picture
