Date29 July 2015Reference NumberPhoto 15-272DescriptionIn 2015 retiree Rodney Giddens undertook to provide a photographic record of shop fronts from the roadside of Tauranga’s CBD. Roadside photograph of Durham number 38. Various signs can be made out, including “Baycourt”.

Following 9 years of fundraising and organising Baycourt Theatre was opened by the Prince and Princess of Wales in April 1983. The first performance was the NZSO concert in July 1983.
