Celebrating 150 years of Libraries in Tauranga, 2021 (Penelope Coleman)
DateMarch; 2021DescriptionIn March of 2021, professional photographer Penelope Coleman came into our libraries to capture a slice of library life. This was no small feat as Tauranga Libraries run hundreds of programmes each year, catering to all age groups. Penelope spent time at all the branches including the mobile bus, and saw the library in action with toddlers, teens, families and retirees. She also captured some of the the Heritage and Research team working with volunteers and speaking about the early days of our library in Tauranga.
