John Hewlett

John was born before 9 March 1845,the third child of Henry and Ann(Raines )Hewlett.   John was baptised on the 9 March 1845 at St Andrews Church, Clifton Bristol by Rev G Swayer, and it is noted on baptism that the family were living at Cumberland Buildings  In 1851 the family were living at 13 Love St Bristol.   John Served in the British Navy,  He Worked in the Ship Building Yards in Bristol as a Labourer and also a Dock  Worker as a Labourer   John married Louisa Wyatt on the 9th of January 1869 in  ST John the Baptist Bedminster   Bristol.  John and Louisa moved around a lot, living:

•  in 1870 at 20 Merchant Road
• 1871 to 1876 in 6 Rownham Place Clifton
• 1878 at 10 Weston Square Clifton
• 1881 in 2 Power Place and
• 1891 South Green Street Clifton Bristol

   John died in June 1899 in Bristol and is buried in the Avondale Cemetery.
