DescriptionCollection comprises:

Ams 403/1: Scrapbook, 1970-1975. Includes souvenir postcards and airline menus from a trip Mr Mackintosh took to Cleveland, Ohio, in September-October 1970. Cleveland was the home base of Jarva Inc., the company which supplied the giant tunnel-boring machine to the Ministry of Works and Development.

Ams 403/2: Scrapbook, 1975-1977.

Ams 403/3: Newspaper clippings, loose, c. 1978. From Bay of Plenty Times, Waikato Times, Bay Sun, some undated and unidentified.

Ams 403/4: Pamphlets and publications, 1970s. Welcoming Ceremony booklet, 12 September 1978; Ministry of Works information pamphlet (3 copies); The Kaimai Railway Deviation, Ministry of Works and Development, Wellington, 1976.

Ams 403/5: Photographs, ephemera, typescripts, 1970s. Two large black and white photos from Auckland Star; three small colour prints; invitation to reception for first official train through the Kaimai Tunnel; typed information about the Ministry of Works & Development and the Kaimai Tunnel; typescript of talk about the Kaimai Railway Tunnel presented by D.
