Emma Mary Cornish nee Vogan was born in Lewisham, England to James and Mary Vogan. Emma lived in Tauranga with her parents at 'Bon Repos' on the corner of Devonport Road and Fifth Avenue and painted watercolours of the area. She moved to Seatoun after she married farmer Thomas Scoble Cornish. During World War I she was a masseuse. She had one daughter, Kathleen Cornish.CreatorVogan, Emma Mary, 1864-1940
