The ArtHub

The multi studio space at The ArtHub behind the Laundromat Art Project Space gallery provides artists working in all mediums with an opportunity to share creative ideas and to support one another as they work or they have the option of working on their own if they wish.

To date, the talented Nick Clegg, who sculpts in metal, Maraea TimuTimu, who sculpts and paints, painters Hayley Brown, Lynn Brown, Grant Thompson, Skye Carson-Wilson, Scott Serjeant, Nigel Banks and airbrush maestro Paul Julian have joined forces at the ArtHub. The creativity and quality of work coming from these local artists has to be seen to be believed. It is an environment that is filled with and stimulates creativity.

Visitors to the Laundromat Art Project Space are warmly welcomed by gallery assistant Ashley Shore who will explain the L.A.P.S. concept more fully and will give you a brief introduction to the exhibition currently on show.

The ArtHub is one of the most interesting developments in Tauranga's art scene for some time and is part of the Bay of Plenty's growing stature as a nationally recognised region for artistic creativity.
