Reference NumberPhoto 07-354DescriptionKopurererua aerial, early 1950s. Saleyards middle right, Churchill Road opposite. Then Judea Road above and London Place, Waihī Road up to the summit. Farm not yet subdivided. Farm came right down to the Judea river (Kopurererua Stream) across the bottom. Māori gathered flax from the swamp, now Birch Avenue. 'We had many flax kits' (donor Mrs Bentley). Faulkner Park middle right: Mrs Bradmore planted the exotic trees there.
