DescriptionThis shop was originally situated on the corner of Cameron Rd and Elizabeth St Tauranga. The store was built in 1880 and first opened for business on 26 July 1880. Called the "Exchange" it dealt in general merchandise, hardware and grain. It was built with accommodation attached._x000D_
The store is built of Kauri and Rimu._x000D_
The building was moved to the "Tauranga District Museum" , now the Historic Village, in November 1974.
