DescriptionThe Foresters' Hall was constructed in 1908 in Spring Street, Tauranga for the local Foresters' Lodge.
In 1934 it was taken over by the Borough Council and from 1936-1952 it was used by St John Ambulance for cadet classes. The hall then became the bandroom for the Tauranga Brass band.
On 21 December 1989 the Council moved the building to the Historic Village.
The sign say "Bay Nissan Hall" indicates the sponsors of the restoration work.
